*** A taxpayer is entitled to a Homestead exemption on their principle/primary residence. Effective September 1, 2013 the law has changed and requires that you attach a copy of your driver’s license or state-issued personal identification certificate as documentation along with the Homestead Exemption Application. The address listed on your driver’s license or state-issued personal identification certificate must correspond to the address of the property for which an exemption is claimed. In certain cases, you may be exempt from these requirements or the chief appraiser may waive the requirement. Please see the Homestead Exemption Application for further information. |

Protest Deadline is May 31, 2022.
Remember to turn in your Homestead applications.
The 2022 Appraisal Values were certified as of July 18, 2022.
You may apply for the 2023 Tax Year for AG applications.

Processing of Deeds for Ownership changes are currently as of recorded date JANUARY 31, 2023.
All property splits & subdivision created after April 1, 2023 will be split for 2024 tax year.
These splits and new accounts will not create a 2023 tax bill.
