Members The Ag Advisory Board’s role in the Property Tax System The board will meet at least three times a year. If you are interested in serving on this board, please contact Caldwell County Appraisal District at 512-398-5550. This board’s function is to advise the chief appraiser on major issues dealing with agricultural or timber appraisal - net to land, degree of intensity standards, and other agricultural use and appraisal issues. Board members will be familiar with local land use, degree of intensity, typical production practices, lease and productions costs, typical net to land estimates, crop and crop yields, and other agricultural or timber appraisals in the district.
